Welcome to the USS Atlantis

The USS Atlantis is an online Star Trek role-playing game, the year is 2385. The Atlantis is a Sovereign-B Class starship, Starfleet registry NX 90216, under the command of Captain Cerisa Chesra.
Although our main history is based within the ST realm, use a Starfleet vessel to travel through space, we also incorporate SG1 genre and the Atlantis legend. These three elements combined literally opens a myriad of possibilities with new and exciting missions which we can create, discovery and write about new worlds, species and yes, find new enemies to engage. There will also be space-time continuum problems, which may cause the Atlantis to be thrust into alternate timelines, parallel dimensions and possibly traveling to the past and future, both our own and alien as well.
We also have some Top positions still open and numerous vacancies available in all Departments including, Engineering, Flight Control, Intelligence, Marines, Medical, Operations, Science, Security and our Starfighter Wing.

The USS Atlantis will hold the best that Sigma Division has to offer, and we will be touching topics/subjects that Star Trek RPG's haven't in the past. We expect our posts to be of both High Quality and Quantity. If you do not have time for a fast paced RPG, and cannot contribute and post frequently, please visit Sigma Division or view the other Simulations 1, or Simulations 2. All new and experienced writers are welcome to Join us, and become an involved and integrated member of our Crew. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to Contact Us.
Thank you for visiting, we hope you enjoyed our site. Please take the time to sign our Guestbook below, and Vote for Us!
Respectfully,
Captain Cerisa Chesra
Commanding Officer
and
Commander Robert L Feinstein IV

Hi Everyone,
Monday morning I awoke and was unable to move my right side. First thought was I had suffered a stroke or something as simple as a pinched nerve. First, let me say that I HAVE NOT suffered a stroke, it is a pinched nerve mainly affecting my right arm. I have very liittle fine motor skills in the hand & fingers and its very difficult to type or use the mouse as this is my dominant arm.
My doctor has told me to not use the computer over the next few days while we do PT and other options to relieve the pressure. Most of you know that I'm usually doing things within SD & Atlantis daily & participating with all my characters/forum, I apologize for any inconvenience my absence has had or will have over the next week or so.
However, my family has plans to go out of town tomorrow until Tuesday (Labor Day weekend) and I don't want to spoil their fun - so I will be gone for that time. Please accept my apologies for being inactive, it was an unforeseen problem which can pop up in RL and something we can not change although we wish we could.
The JPs we are currently working on may be slowed because of my condition, but I haven't fallen off the ship just yet, this will also slow our mission pace, but we must remain flexible because of unforeseen issues which crop up in real life.
I have left the daily running of the Atlantis to Lt. Jack Jameson who is very capable and has my total confidence, please contact him if you have any questions, although I cannot type much I will stay in touch as much as possible during my recouperation.
I'd also like to thank YOU ALL for your support and willingness to help during this time, I appreciate each one of you and I'm proud to know and write with you!
Respectfully,
Capt. Cerisa

I'll be going on vacation on Sun. Aug. 10-17th so contact our XO Cmdr. Feinstein if something comes up, also Rear Admiral Koolah will be checking in as well and if you can't reach the XO contact the Admiral at - cos@sigma-division.com.
I will place my character(s) on LOA before leaving. Try to move the storyline along, or continue with character development and JPing with others. I'll try to check in, not sure if I'll have interenet access though. Oh! Try not to lose any crew or blow up the ship while the cat is away. :)
Regards,
Capt. Cerisa

I received this from Sigma Division's Forum Administrators and everyone should take heed. I'm sad to say that many from Atlantis have not taken advantage of the forums many different sides. Participating on the fleet forum is part of what goes towards your chance of promotions and keeps everyone in good standing.
This needs to change folks, as a group I wanted us to lead by example to the rest of the fleet, but apparently many on Atlantis don't see the pride and honor I have to be a part of something larger, a fleet with many creative and fun people that we can interact with on the fleet forum. Please I ask each one of you to begin posting on the forum on a regular basis. You don't have to say much, just look for a subject that peaks your interest and participate or begin a topic/discussion with an interest or topic you wish discussed.

Subject Forum Activity
The Sigma Division forum's are located at http://forum.sigma-division.com I strongly encourage you all to visit regularly.
Command Council Members (All CO's & Fleet Staff) unless you are on LOA/ELOA then it is MANDATORY that you visit the forum and participate in discussions/polls held within the Command Council. This is apart of your duties that comes with your position and you should be fully aware of this.
Any Command Council member that does not visit the forum on a regular basis will be contacted by Admiral Jarrod Mushar or Vice Admiral Gwena Max and an explanation will be expected. These members may face demotion in either rank or position.
Everyone else.. alot of important and useful information is posted on the forum that is not posted anywhere else throughout Sigma Division. PLEASE visit the forum REGULARLY

Some have asked about promotions and I've updated the database file to include a section on this very subject. Please read these guidelines at - http://atlantis.sigma-division.com/index.php?page=database&entry=63.
Although I wish I could promote everyone, it is not conducive to game play and as in real life promotions are earned for service and participation. I've always believed that promotions in rank and position should be earned. All promotions, if any will be given upon the completion of each episode. Please take time to read these guidelines.

Capt. Cerisa
